LA VUELTA
It's time for the final Grand Tour of the season, and the peloton is headed to Barcelona to embark on a three-week trip around Spain.
Reigning Tour de France champ Jonas Vingegaard, his Jumbo-Visma teammate and reigning Giro d’Italia champ Primoz Roglič, defending Vuelta champ Remco Evenepoel and former Tour winner Geraint Thomas are just a few of the heavyweight talents toeing the start line. As is almost always the case in La Vuelta, they will do battle on a course that features some truly grueling mountain challenges.

THE ROUTE
As usual with the Vuelta, this year's course highly favors the climbers. The vert starts almost immediately in Stage 2 and 3—with the rest of the GC challenges being spread evenly across the following few weeks. In addition to the climbs, the individual time trial will be a pivotal day for the GC hopefuls–most of whom are the best of the best against the clock. Buckle up, this edition of La Vuelta will be one for the record books.
